Aminah Folli is a filmmaker and visual artist whose work explores the emotional and poetic dimensions of storytelling across film, photography, and emerging media. With a background in classical literature and a foundation in photography, she brings a refined visual sensitivity and narrative depth to her practice.
Her cinematic voice was shaped at the London Film Academy, where she wrote and produced the short film “Behind the Mask.” Her work draws from the subtle interplay of light, memory, and culture—bridging tradition with contemporary aesthetics and new technologies to create visuals that feel both timeless and forward-looking.
Aminah’s projects have been exhibited internationally, including at the Sony Lot in Los Angeles, PoCo Pop, and have been featured in the LA Times. She has spoken alongside industry leaders at the Microsoft Panel during the Cannes International Film Festival (2024), and has contributed as Lead Curator at Curious Refuge—one of the leading platforms shaping AI filmmaking education worldwide.
Her recent work spans collaborations with global brands and studios including Imagine Entertainment, Longchamp, Aramco, and Bloomberg, with projects developed as Senior AI Artist in collaboration with Obsidian Studio. She is known for weaving storytelling into bold, future-facing creative direction, combining technical innovation with a strong human sensibility.
