"Behind the Mask" is a compelling student short film, penned and conceived during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the scriptwriter for this poignant student short film, I crafted a narrative deeply influenced by the societal shifts during the height of the pandemic. The narrative is crafted around a complex couple dynamic; the man, stifled by the oppressive regulations and yearning for authenticity, stands precariously on the edge of rebellion. The woman, in stark contrast, remains securely entrenched within the system's parameters. My script explores the complexities of love, liberty, and identity amidst such systemic control, distilling the existential concerns of the pandemic era into a poignant, brief cinematic narrative.
