Written and directed by Aminah Folli, MAD WOMAN explores the unraveling of Medea, a once-celebrated chemist whose achievements are overshadowed by betrayal and societal alienation. As her relationship with Jason deteriorates, the film questions whether Medea is truly mad or if it is a label imposed by society.
It's a story about mystery, success, love, feeling like an outsider, and... well, madness. But is a woman ever really mad, or are we the ones labeling her as such?
I curated the visuals and edited the film, using character references in MidJourney to shape the imagery. This project showcases how, with the latest AI technologies, it's possible to craft a compelling story. Tools used include MidJourney for images, Photoshop generative fill, Magnific AI for image upscaling, Runway for videos, Topaz for video upscaling, and ElevenLabs for voice. The final cut was done in Premiere Pro.
Produced by VisionnAIre Studio, an initiative of which I am the founder.
